Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai Hosts China-India BRICS Dialogue and Chinese Film Screening Event

On August 13, Consul General Qin Jie attended the China-India BRICS Dialogue and Chinese Film Screening Event, jointly organized by the Consulate General and the Welingkar Institute of Management. He delivered a speech, engaged in in-depth interactions with faculty and students, and watched the Chinese animated film Little Monsters of Langlangshan together with them. Nearly 300 faculty and students from the institute participated in the event.

Mr. Qin focused on introducing the development history and vital role of BRICS, as well as the exchanges and cooperation between China and India under this framework. He emphasized that BRICS is an important platform for Global South countries to strengthen cooperation and a crucial force in promoting global peace and development. All parties Should work hand in hand to make the "golden brand" of BRICS shine even brighter. China supports India in assuming the BRICS chairmanship this year, and exchanges between the two countries in areas such as trade, media, sister cities, and women have further increased, injecting new momentum into the positive development of bilateral relations.
